Vase made of wild clay collected by hand in the Filia hamlet (Castellamonte, Turin) and glazed with natural enamel that makes it completely waterproof. The enamel is made of local pink granite, also collected by hand, reduced to a very fine powder and mixed with ash of oak and acacia, according to the Japanese Nuke recipe.
The impurities of clay and granite, the small fragments of quartz present, become the protagonists of an object that reflects the territory in which the materials are collected. The structure of the enamel color is almost indescribable: it creates a variegated and very rich effect in shades.
The firing temperature is 1260 °C, which makes the ceramic durable and resistant.
