Mokuhanga, two-matrix woodblock print in four shades of blue (indigo, Antwerp, Prussian and turquoise) and one of black (sumi). Signed, titled and numbered by hand by the artist (mm.185x70).
Perfect example printed by the artist on washi paper (handmade mulberry paper) from two Japanese lime matrices in a total of 100 examples. “Bokashi” shading perfectly executed in four passes, to make the moon and its halo pearlescent the artist performs a further pass with mica powder. Perfect preservation, with pristine margins.
